Rebecca Stenson is the newest recruit to the CHS team and joins us as our new marketing manager.
Rebecca has over seven years’ experience in marketing and has worked in a variety of companies across three industry sectors.
1. Tell us about your career to date?
My university placement was with the Principal Hayley Group and this really gave me a passion for the MICE industry. After I graduated with a BA Hons in Tourism Marketing, I worked with Galleon Hotels who is a small group of independent hotels based in the South of the UK. More recently, I have worked with an advertising company in Leeds as an account executive and also for a nationwide renewable energy service provider.
My marketing experience is varied, but it has taught me transferable skills that has helped me get to where I am today. I’m a very driven and passionate individual, and look forward to seeing what I can bring to the CHS team.
2. What projects will you be working on as our new marketing manager?
I’m very excited to get my teeth stuck into a number of amazing projects planned at CHS Group. I have joined the company at a really exciting time – the future is bright! As our CEO Emma Cartmell states,
Go Big or Go Home, I certainly intend to live by this CHS mantra.
3. What inspires you?
My fabulous family and friends inspire me. I’m generally the most positive and happy person you’re likely to meet, so I like to think that my positivity rubs off on everyone I meet.
Next September, I will be getting married to my fiancé, Simon at Simonstone Hall in Wensleydale, the venue is simply stunning with an amazing wine list and the best Sunday dinner around.
4. Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I generally love to try out new things, most recently I have taken up running, which I really enjoy. In September, I ran the Great North Run which is a half marathon... Watch out, I may be running full marathons soon.
