The Conference & Hospitality Show is next week and we are so excited! We want you to have the most amazing day at CHS19, and that’s why we’re bringing you this 2-part guide on how to make the most of the day! In case you missed it, you can check out part one here.

Let’s get into our final tips on how to make the most of attending CHS19 this year.

  • Make reservations for travel early and plan how you will get to first direct arena ahead of time

If you haven’t booked your train travel or planned your driving route yet, you should do so now. It’s one less thing not to worry about! You should also get a good idea of how you will actually get to first direct arena on the morning of the show. It’s in a central location in Leeds and easy to access, but you can never be too prepared, can you?

  • Wear comfortable shoes

You will be doing a lot of walking around at CHS19. The show floor will be filled with exhibitors, speaker stages, tiki bars, VIP areas and more. Wear some comfortable shoes so your feet aren’t aching at the end of a busy day walking around!

  • Balance your time between visiting exhibitors, attending educational sessions and networking at the industry meetups

As we mentioned before, there is so much to see and do at CHS19. Keep an eye on the time, so you don’t get caught up all day doing one activity and missing out on all of the others! Balance your time between speaking to venues, learning everything you can from our speakers and catching up with your fellow industry profs in our meetups. We wish we could run CHS19 all day and night, but the show ends at 4pm and we want you to have experienced everything we have to offer you!

  • Plan to meet your existing connections

While you will be meeting so many new people at CHS19 and building new professional connections, it’s also a great chance to catch up with your existing connections. Before the show, reach out to any current connections you have by email or on LinkedIn, and schedule a time to catch up at the show. It’s important to keep nurturing your current connections - you never know, they can turn into new business for you too!

We hope you found these tips helpful. We’ll see you at CHS19 next week in Leeds on the 30th of April! If you haven’t registered for your free VIP ticket yet, you can register here.
