We cannot believe that CHS19 is only two weeks now! This year is extra special for us since it’s our 10th anniversary show and we’re hard at work making sure everything is fantastic for you. We want you to have the most amazing day at CHS19, and that’s why we’re bringing you this 2-part guide on how to make the most of the day! This one is for all the event profs & PA’s joining us on the 30th of April at CHS19. Stay tuned next week for part two!
1. Decide what you want to get out of the event
There will be so much to see and do at CHS19. To get some focus and clarity, decide beforehand what you want to get out of attending. Is your main goal to fill your little black book with the unique venues & supplier exhibiting? Is it to network with other event professionals & PA’s? Or are there connections of yours attending that you want to catch up with?
Make a point to decide what’s bringing you to CHS19 before you step through those doors on show day (even if you have a few reasons on the list). It will give you more clarity when there’s so much going on around you.
2. Decide who you want to meet
We post our full list of exhibitors on our website so you can browse through them ahead of show day. Have a look beforehand to see who you want to meet, based on your event & meeting needs. Take note of their stand number and keep it in a safe place (either on your phone or in a notebook) ready for CHS19.
3. Post on social media that you will be attending
Mention to everyone on LinkedIn & Twitter that you will be attending CHS19 and encourage your followers and connections to reach out to you if they are as well. It’s a great opportunity to catch up with your old and new connections and maintain those relationships.
You should also tweet or post on LinkedIn during the day of the show to keep your audience updated on what you’re doing - and don’t forget to use the hashtag #CHSRocks!
4. Pick out which speaker sessions you want to attend ahead of time
We also have a full list of our speakers & their schedule available on the CHS19 website. Take a look at which sessions are interesting to you, read the speaker bios and take note of the time & stage they’re on so you don’t miss out!
5. Bring a notepad and pen for the speaker sessions to take notes
The speakers joining us at CHS19 will be dishing out their best tips during their sessions, and it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from these legends. Take a notepad and pen for easy note-taking so you can refer back to what they said long after CHS19 is over.
We hope you found these tips helpful, and we’ll see you right back here on the blog next week for part 2 of how to make the most of attending CHS19. If you haven’t registered for your free VIP ticket yet, you can register here.
